Dr. Jim FitzSimons

Dr. Jim FitzSimons has more than 27 years of experience caring for companion animals in Cumming and the surrounding communities. A native Georgian, he graduated from the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine in 1996. Dr. FitzSimons is experienced in both emergency medicine and general practice.

Dr. Jennifer Dorton

DVM

Dr. Dorton earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2003. After graduation, she remained at the university to help teach technical skills to senior veterinary students and to support a newly hired criticalist in the intensive care unit.

Dr. Madeline Lowery

Dr. Madeline Lowery graduated from Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2008. Her special interests include internal medicine, dermatology, geriatric care, building strong client relationships, and client education. She brings over 15 years of experience caring for pets and their families in Gwinnett County.

Deniz Birdal-Coban

Dr. Deniz Birdal-Coban grew up in Eskişehir, Turkey. Throughout her veterinary education, she gained extensive experience in cell-based regenerative medicine research. After graduating from Afyon Kocatepe University in 2016, she worked as a veterinarian in Turkey for three years, providing emergency medicine, critical care, and primary care services.
